Die dieses Jahr begonnene Digitalisierung der Briefmarkensammlung zum Thema Mathematik nähert sich der 1000-er Grenze. So viele Exponate sind bereits online auf der Website von fb-Web-Tutor, der Seite mit den Mathematik-Lernvideos, zu sehen. Die Briefmarken, FDCs und Postkarten sind nach Herausgeberländern geordnet. Um anderen Sammlern bei der Anlage einer eigenen Sammlung zu helfen, sind alle Briefmarken mit einer Abbildung, einer kurzen Beschreibung und fast lückenlos mit Katalognummern versehen.

The collection of mathematics stamps is getting close to the 1000 boundary. This is the number of exhibits which are already online on fb-Web-Tutor, the provider of video tutorials on mathematics. Stamps, FDCs and postcards are arranged in the order of the countries. In order to helf other collectors to get helpful informations all stamps are shown with a picture, a short description and almost in all cases have a catalog number.

Die Sammlung gibt einen guten Überlick über die Geschichte der Mathematik, von den Anfängen, über die Antike bis zur Moderne. Da die Mathematik eine so überragende Bedeutung für fast alle anderen Wissenschaften hat, sind die Grenzen der Sammlung auch fließend. Informatik und Physik sind besonders stark vertreten, wie auch die Astronomie.

This collection gives a good overview over the history of mathematics, from the beginning, through the Ancient until the modern age. Due to the overhelming importance of mathematics to almost all other sciences the boundaries of the collection are flexible. Informatics and physics are very often, as well as astronomy.

Die Sammlung ist noch nicht völlig erfasst. Auch kommen - glücklicherweise - laufend neue Exemplare hinzu.
